Kira Blue press photo 2.jpeg

Kira Blue

Growing up as a French-Chinese-American, Kira Blue is not your typical country artist. She has been shaped by many different cultures, sounds, and experiences from an early age. A Michigan born country-pop artist, songwriter, and performer, she is the winner of the 2026 Michigan State Fair Superstar Contest. Her current sound echoes elements of Kacey Musgraves, Ella Langley, and Stevie Nicks in a way that feels natural to who she is, creating a style uniquely her own.

Most of what Kira writes comes from real life: the awkward moments, the exciting ones, the relationships that change you, and everything in between. Her personal mission is to uplift, motivate, and inspire her listeners while never taking life too seriously. A little humor has always been part of who she is, and she loves finding the light in everyday situations.

From intimate acoustic shows to full-band sets, she loves creating a connection with every audience and getting to meet people after the music is over just as much as playing the songs themselves.

Be sure to catch her performance Saturday the 26th from 1:45-2:30pm on the Firefly stage — for a set with new originals and some of her releases available for listen online that include “City Slicker Farm Girl”, “Take Me To Town”, and “Sitting On A Cloud”.

Maxwell Rincón

Maxwell Rincón is a singer-songwriter carving a path through the intersection of Western Gothic and soulful blues. Based between the industrial grit of Detroit and the heart of Columbus, his music ranges from haunting, intimate stories to foot-stomping Folk Rock anthems. Rincón & Co. have earned a reputation for engaging live shows, earning them support slots with national acts such as Marcus King, Joe Jordan, Bird and Byron, and more.

With a distinctive vocal timbre that carries the weight of the Rust Belt, Rincón channels a sound that is as cinematic as it is raw--modern outlaw music for the midwestern soul.

As a composer and improviser Mark Stone’s work is rooted in traditions stretching from classical Indian music to European concert music and American jazz to traditional African music. The cross-cultural capacity of his music has been described as, “revolutionary to our musical landscape. The experiences he gained traversing geographical borders has put him in a unique position to cross genre borders and break conceptual boundaries.” His newest project, the Stone Sound Collective, crosses these borders and boundaries as it unites diverse musicians and instruments. The group brings together percussion traditions of Africa and India with the lyricism of diverse wind instruments. The collective performs original compositions rooted in its member’s wide-ranging musical influences, creating music that celebrates the oneness of humanity by uplifting hearts, expanding minds and connecting souls.

In the group, Stone plays the newly-invented array mbira, an American-made 120 key lamellaphone, together with multiple traditional melodic African instruments, including the Ghanaian gyil, Ugandan akogo, and South African karimba. He is joined by Sam Jeyasingham (Indian percussion), and Matt Dufresne (winds).
